Aleinik negotiating with Kenyan Foreign Minister
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik is holding talks in Nairobi with Kenya’s Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Minister, Dr. Alfred Nganga Mutua – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
As previously reported, from April 1st-3rd, Sergey Aleinik is paying an official visit to the Republic of Kenya, with political co-operation, economic projects, and strengthening the legal framework being on the agenda.
Today, Kenya is one of the most dynamically developing among the countries of East Africa. Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kenya were established on November 17th, 1993. Belarusian export supplies to Kenya include measuring equipment, computers, medicines, instruments and devices for automatic regulation and control. The basis of Kenyan imports to Belarus is the supply of flowers and buds, fruits, seeds, plants and coffee. Trade turnover between the countries from 2012 to 2021 increased from $2m to $10.5m.
