Zelensky replaced AFU Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny with Syrsky
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky appointed Oleksandr Syrsky – who previously commanded the AFU land forces – as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, TASS reports
“I have appointed Colonel General Syrsky as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Ukrainian President stated.
Earlier, Valery Zaluzhny was dismissed from the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It was reported that Vladimir Zelensky met with Valery Zaluzhny to discuss the renewal of the AFU leadership.
