Washington is preparing Taiwan for the fate of Ukraine – as stated by the Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, RIA Novosti reports

Mr. Volodin noted that the conflict over Taiwan is needed by US President Joe Biden to distract the electorate’s attention from the internal problems of the United States. According to him, the American leader’s plans to buy weapons for Taiwan are a mistake.

In addition, Mr. Volodin said that Kiev did not meet Washington’s expectations, and the United States is now looking for salvation in a new conflict. “It is hardly possible to win elections against such results,” he stressed.
