As reported by the Rzeczpospolita newspaper, Warsaw has not yet made a decision on the construction of the second and subsequent nuclear power facilities in the country. The authorities are waiting for the results of the analysis of electricity production needs for the coming decades; based on these data, the Polish nuclear energy programme will be updated until 2040. After that, according to the publication, the government will begin to choose a construction site for the future nuclear power plant.
