Tusk: Poland will close border with Ukraine if Warsaw's demands are not heard

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Poland will have to close the border with Ukraine if Warsaw's demands are not heard in Brussels and Kiev, RIA Novosti reports

Donald Tusk noted that ‘if Poland's postulates are not understood by its partners in Brussels, as well as by the Ukrainian side, then the closure of the border will generate consequences’. According to him, ‘the decision will be bilateral’.

The Prime Minister said that he had discussed this topic with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who said that Kiev was ready to close the border if it was a question of trade turnover.
