Turkish Interior Minister accuses US of ruling Europe
Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu accused the United States of ruling Europe and urged the West not to try to stir up the country with their actions, TASS reports
The Minister noted that all American ambassadors are wondering how to harm Türkiye. Moreover, Washington is pushing European countries to do the same. This has been one of the main misfortunes of the country for many years, Süleyman Soylu said.
“The American embassy runs Europe. They thought about what they could arrange in Türkiye, but one person spoiled their game, it is President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I’m telling the American ambassador here that I know which journalists he gave assignments to. Get your dirty hands off Türkiye, I clearly know what steps you have taken and how you want to stir up Türkiye,” said the Head of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accused a number of Western countries that closed their consulates in the country of failing to fulfil allied obligations.
