MTZ revealed first BELARUS axe buyer

BELARUS axes, made by Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) and tested by President Aleksandr Lukashenko himself in November, are now available for purchase, informed the BelarusTractors official Telegram channel

“The hottest news today is the new generation BELARUS axes that are now available for sale. You can visit our brand stores to purchase one for yourself. There are two such stores, located at 29 Dolgobrodskaya Street and 2 Oleg Koshevoy Street,” said the company representative. He added that their first buyer today was Valery Kursevich, head of BELPROFMASH labor union who bought an axe recommended to him by Stanislav Shimansky, his local office manager. Mr. Kursevich didn’t really have any plans to buy something like that, but the temptation was just too strong!

Earlier, MTZ informed that about 150 new design BELARUS axes and 50 wood splitters are going to be available for purchase in mid-November.

As has already been reported, President Lukashenko presented the new Belarusian-made axe at the third wood chopping championship among the media. During his master class, the Belarusian leader demonstrated several axes he uses to chop wood, and introduced the new BELARUS product, saying the axe was more or less all right, although a little heavier than foreign-made ones. In some cases, when you have to chop a large and heavy log, that can be an advantage. That’s why some master class participants invited by the President to show off their skill chose the Belarusian tool.
