State Border Committee: Belarus will establish visa-free regime for Slavianski Bazaar guests

From July 4th-23rd, foreigners from 73 countries traveling to the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk International Festival of Arts through international checkpoints will enjoy a visa-free entry to Belarus – as reported by the State Border Committee of Belarus in its Telegram channel

The Belarusian border department drew attention to the fact that for visa-free entry into Belarus of the above category of foreigners, it is necessary to have a valid document for traveling abroad, as well as original or electronic tickets for festival events in the Summer Amphitheatre or the Vitebsk Concert Hall.

“For foreign participants of the festival, entry without visas will be allowed if there is an invitation from the Vitebsk Cultural Centre or the Culture Ministry of the Republic of Belarus,” the State Border Committee said in a statement.

Moreover, the border department reminded that one ticket (original or electronic) allows a single entry into Belarus of one foreign citizen no later than the date of the event indicated in this ticket.

Foreigners are exempted from the state duty for registering a temporary stay in Belarus, the State Border Committee noted.
