State Authority for Military Industry: our own missile for Buk complex enables to significantly expand air defence system’s zone of destruction
The State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus is successfully conducting preliminary tests of the domestically-made anti-aircraft guided missile 9M318, developed for the Belarusian Buk-MB2 air defence system – as reported by the State Authority for Military Industry in its Telegram channel
It is noted that the use of the 9M318 anti-aircraft guided missile can significantly expand Buk-MB2's striking range to 70km and the fleet of air targets to be hit from Stealth-type aircraft with a small radar cross-section to tactical ballistic missiles.
It is reported about the successfully conducted preliminary tests of the domestically-made 9M318 anti-aircraft guided missile, developed for the Belarusian Buk-MB2 air defence system.
As a result of the tests, aerial targets – simulated by unmanned aerial vehicles with a turbojet engine – were hit.
