Сompany from China to take tourists to space for $210 thousand, 2 tickets already sold
The private Chinese company Deep Blue Aerospace has started selling tickets for space tourists worth 1.5m Yuan (about $210,000), TASS reports
According to the South China Morning Post newspaper, two tickets have already been bought. The flight scheduled for 2027 will last 12 minutes, of which at least 5 minutes will be spent in weightlessness.
The company, located in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu, put up the first tickets for sale on October 24th, and they sold during a live broadcast on the Taobao platform in just 20 minutes.
As reported, the prices of the Chinese company are significantly lower than those of its competitors: i.e. Virgin Galactic of British billionaire Richard Branson offers tickets at the price of $600,000.
