Sandu poised to win 2nd round of Moldovan election

Current President of Moldova Maia Sandu is leading in the 2nd round of the country’s Presidential election, winning 55.04 percent of all votes, TASS reports

Her opponent Alexandr Stoianoglo currently stands at 44.96 percent, according to preliminary results announced after counting 98.92 percent of ballots. Just a few polling stations abroad remain to be added.
