Sabalenka back to world No.1

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated world ranking, placing Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka at the top spot again

Victoria Azarenka is still the 21st racket of the planet, while Aliaksandra Sasnovich dropped by 12 positions and is now only 143rd.

Aryna Sabalenka is now in the lead, followed by Iga Swiatek (Poland), Coco Gauff (US), Jessica Pegula (US), Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan), Jasmine Paolini (Italy), Zheng Qinwen (China), Emma Navarro (US), Daria Kasatkina (Russia) and Beatriz Haddad Maia (Brazil).

In the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), Egor Gerasimov – the best of the Belarusian athletes – fell by 16 lines and is now 336th.

Italian Yannik Sinner is still at the top, followed by Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), Alexander Zverev (Germany), Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Daniil Medvedev (Russia), Taylor Fritz (US), Andrey Rublev (Russia), Casper Ruud (Norway), Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria) and Alex de Minaur (Australia).
