Rutte confirmed construction of another Rheinmetall plant in Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, presently on a visit to Germany, confirmed that the second Rheinmetall plant in Ukraine is close to launch, RIA Novosti reports

"Rheinmetall has just opened the first plant in Ukraine. The second plant will soon be completed," he said at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

In October, Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger announced the launch of their first Ukrainian facility. In total, the company plans to build four production sites in the country.
