Russian FM: NATO's plans to supply weapons to Ukraine indicate direct involvement in the conflict
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the North Atlantic Alliance's plans to co-ordinate arms supplies to Ukraine indicate the alliance’s direct involvement in the conflict, TASS reports
According to Ms. Zakharova, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made it clear that the issues of allocating military assistance to Kiev will be discussed not only in the Ramstein format, but also at Ukraine-NATO meetings.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s representative, in the face of difficulties with the allocation of military aid through the United States and the European Union, NATO ‘actually intends to assume the role of co-ordinator of arms supplies to the Zelenskyy regime’. Ms. Zakharova added that it means NATO is openly talking about its direct involvement in the conflict.
