Bridge to the Future Belarus-Italy business forum held in Verona
On October 4th, the first Belarus-Italy business forum – Bridge to the Future – took place in the city of Verona in northern Italy, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
According to Nikolai Borisevich, the Director of the National Marketing Centre, the purpose of the event is to provide businesses with the opportunity to discuss in detail ways of business interaction within the existing legal framework.
The main topics of the forum include logistics, textiles and fashion, agriculture and animal husbandry.
The Belarusian delegation was formed by the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus’ Foreign Ministry and included logistics operators, representatives of light industry, agricultural and other enterprises.
About 100 representatives of more than 55 Italian enterprises – keen on long-term liaisons with Belarus – participated in the forum.
During the event, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for developing co-operation, as well as ways and mechanisms to strengthen trade-economic ties between the two countries.
Business meetings on the sidelines of the forum began a few days before its start and will continue after the completion of the official part.
