Russian CEC to observe elections in Belarus
On February 12th, the press service of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia, following the meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, Dmitry Krutoi, stated that their representatives will participate in the observation of the upcoming elections in Belarus, BelTA reports
The Chairperson of the CEC of Russia, Ella Pamfilova, noted during the meeting that ‘the delegation of the Central Election Commission of Russia will definitely go to the Republic of Belarus to participate in the observation of the parliamentary elections’.
The CEC representatives also discussed the preparations for the presidential elections in Russia that will take place in March 2024. Dmitry Krutoi noted that the delegation of the Central Election Commission of Belarus plans to participate in the observation of the Russian elections.
