Romanov: Africa is storehouse of raw materials, we can and must enter this market
Africa is the richest continent, which can be extremely useful for Belarus. Our country, in turn, can also help African states – as noted by Chairman of the Belaya Rus Party Oleg Romanov in his talk with the ONT TV channel
As Oleg Romanov noted, Belarus can ‘act humanely’ with African countries.
“I think this is very important: to bring peace, help to these people, health, nutrition, culture. But, on the other hand, this is a good market for our economy, because the African continent is the richest continent, and it is no coincidence that France, Britain, and Belgium are clinging to it with everything they can,” he added.
Oleg Romanov stressed that Africa is a storehouse of raw materials: diamonds, oil, rare earth metals. “Therefore, we can and should enter this market. I would like to highlight two aspects that our President underlined. The humanitarian component is that we bring peace, we go to help, we bring good. The second aspect is that we are going there as partners who want to get their benefit, their profit, by giving this benefit to the other side,” concluded Oleg Romanov.
