President of Cuba wished success to Belarus in its EAEU presidency in 2025
In a video message at today’s meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the President of Cuba (an observer state in EAEU), Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, confirmed his country's commitment to developing mutually beneficial co-operation with EAEU and its member states, BelTA reports
"In the year of the 10th anniversary of this important mechanism of economic integration, I would like to reaffirm Cuba's commitment to developing mutually beneficial co-operation with the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states. As an observer state, we once again express our readiness for further and more active involvement in the EAEU mechanisms for deeper integration," the President of Cuba said.
Miguel Maria Diaz-Chanel Bermudez stressed that Cuba attaches great importance to strengthening ties with the EU member states. He also wished success to Belarus, which will assume the EAEU presidency in 2025 – ‘and especially to President and friend Aleksandr Grigorievich Lukashenko’.
