As noted at the Belarusian Embassy in Russia, the parties underlined the importance of holding inter-ministerial consultations in order to ‘synchronise watches’ on the whole range of topical issues of bilateral co-operation.
“The Ambassador of Belarus stressed that Belarusian food products, especially dairy products, are traditionally in great demand in Malaysia. Aleksandr Rogozhnik expressed the opinion that it is important to expand the range of Belarusian goods supplied, especially the entire range of mechanical engineering products. The interlocutors agreed on the expediency of holding a Belarusian-Malaysian business forum, which will serve as an impetus for intensifying interaction between the two countries’ business circles,” the press service stressed.
Aleksandr Rogozhnik informed Cheong Lung Lai about the Belagro International Agricultural Exhibition – to be held in June 2025 – and invited representatives of relevant Malaysian departments and the business community to participate in it.
