Red level of terrorist threat cancelled in 14 Kazakh regions
The National Security Committee of Kazakhstan informed that in 14 regions of the country the red level of terrorist threat has been cancelled. At the same time, in the city of Almaty, as well as Almaty and Zhambyl regions, measures are being taken to identify and detain terrorists and persons involved in other criminal activities during the period of mass riots, in connection with which the critical red level of terrorist danger in these regions remains, RIA Novosti informs
“The Republican Operational Headquarters for Combating Terrorism notifies of the completion of the anti-terrorist operation and the cancellation of the critical red level of terrorist threat in the territory of Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, Mangystau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan and Turkestan regions,” specified the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan specified.
