Belarus ready for Expo-2020 in Dubai
Belarus plans to attract UAE investors at Expo-2020 in Dubai – as stated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Igor Petrishenko
“We hope all our companies will approach this event responsibly – worthily demonstrating the country’s potential and signing business contracts. We believe our enterprises will present worthy projects and attract necessary investments into the Belarusian economy from the UAE and other countries,” Mr. Petrishenko said before a meeting of the organising committee which oversees preparations for the exhibition.
As he informed, Belarus’ national pavilion will open in Dubai on September 29th. “A few days after its opening, the Days of the Vitebsk Region and the Days of Minsk will follow. In December, we plan to hold the Days of the Minsk Region and also present economic potential of the Belgospishcheprom and Belneftekhim concerns,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.
The National Day of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai is scheduled for November 22nd. It will coincide with a Belarusian investment forum.
“A Belarusian-Arab business forum will also be held. Meanwhile, over the whole period of Expo-2020, Belarus will be showcased on large scales. Next year, our Brest, Grodno, Mogilev and Gomel regions’ potential will be presented,” Mr. Petrishenko stated.
