Putin praised reliability of Belarusian machine-tool equipment

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin praised the reliability of Belarusian machine-tool equipment, TASS reports

This was discussed at a meeting with the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, who mentioned that they were going to create a machine-tool cluster in the republic. Now, the agreements already exist, and design work is beginning.

According to Radiy Khabirov, in the first half of 2026, Bashkortostan will cast machines’ beds that are currently being bought in Belarus.

Vladimir Putin noted that Russian enterprises might not replace these units with domestic ones, “You can also buy them in Belarus, as it is reliable.”
