Public reception offices open in Minsk to discuss draft Constitution
Public reception offices have begun their work at Minsk’s district primary organisations of Belaya Rus public association – as reported to BelTA by the Chairperson of the Minsk City Organisation of the Belarusian Union of Women, Olga Chemodanova
On December 27th, a draft of amendments and additions to the Constitution was submitted for public discussion. The document is available at the National Legal Internet Portal, while its printed version can be found at Belarus’ public legal information centres operating on the basis of regional and central district (city) public libraries.
"On December 30th, public reception offices have begun their work in Minsk to collect comments and suggestions on the draft document," Ms. Chemodanova said. "Representatives of the Minsk City Organisation of the Belarusian Union of Women will also take an active part in the discussion of amendments and additions to the Constitution."
Minsk residents interested in the discussion can visit Belaya Rus’ district primary organisations in Minsk on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday, after 5pm. Detailed information is available on the Minsk City Executive Committee’s website.
All incoming comments and suggestions of Minskers will be further sent to the National Centre of Legal Information for summation.
