Protest against NATO flooded Montreal

An anti-NATO protest against the backdrop of the 70th annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly took place in Montreal, Canada, TASS reports

Several thousand people gathered to protest. As reported, a local group in support of Palestine was among of the organisers of the campaign. Three protesters were detained after the crowd clashed with the police.

It is known that the security forces used special means against the participants of the action. No information about the victims is available. Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly condemned the protest.
