Poland said United States will buy its TNT to produce shells for Ukraine

The Polish Arms Group has informed that the United States signed contracts for the purchase of $1.5bn of explosives to make shells for Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports

“The US Army has signed contracts worth $1.5bn with nine companies from four countries, including the Nitro-Chem chemical plant from Bydgoszcz, part of the Polish Arms Group,” the source said.

It is reported that these contracts were signed with a planned increase in the production of 155mm artillery ammunition for their supply to Ukraine. The contract will be implemented in 2023-2026.
