The top manager said, “We will consider this issue. This is stipulated by agreements that I cannot talk about. The issue of compensation from Russia is being studied.”

The agency noted that Orlen still has a contract for the supply of black gold with the Russian Tatneft, which is valid until December next year. According to it, the Polish concern purchased 200,000 tonnes of oil monthly. However, on February 27th, Transneft informed about the termination of the transportation of raw materials due to the lack of route orders. Ultimately, deliveries were excluded from the export schedule, approved by the Energy Ministry.

It is also reported that the PGNiG contract (part of Orlen) with Gazprom was valid until the end of 2022, but the supply of blue fuel was suspended in April 2022 due to non-payment under the new scheme in Russian Roubles.
