Pentagon to ship weapons to Ukraine every week till Trump takes office
The US Defence Department wants to send weapons shipments to Ukraine weekly in order to exhaust the funds allocated to Kiev before Joe Biden leaves office, RIA Novosti reports

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said during her briefing, “That's a commitment that the president has made and therefore the department continues to honour that commitment by the packages that we send to Ukraine on a pretty weekly basis.”
Ms. Singh added that the US Army keeps replenishing their weapon stockpiles to make sure the Ukrainian aid doesn’t empty them.
“The secretary [Austin] is not going to allow the department to dip below readiness levels that he doesn't feel comfortable with. So as we continue to refill our own shelves, you're going to see equipment capabilities continue to flow out [to Ukraine],” said the Pentagon representative.
She also stated that the Defence Department has to ‘work very hard’ to ship the remainder of the aid worth 7.1 billion Dollars.
