Pantus: over 20 Belarusian enterprises involved in the project to organise mass production of ammunition
More than 20 enterprises from all over the country – under the jurisdiction of both the State Authority for Military Industry and the Industry Ministry, as well as of private ownership – are involved in the implementation of the project to organise the mass production of ammunition – as noted by Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry Dmitry Pantus following the results of President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s working trip to the Minsk Region
“Under the instruction of the Head of State, which was given in late 2022, the State Authority for Military Industry, together with enterprises of the Industry Ministry, carried out work aiming to organise the mass production of ammunition in Belarus,” recalled Dmitry Pantus. “The most massive type of warhead was chosen as the basis: reactive 122 mm. To date, we have demonstrated to the President the first stage of this task. In general, initially, when this task was set, it was rhetorical. But in fulfilment of the instructions, we did everything possible to perform it. It’s necessary to pay tribute to the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Prime Minister, who personally oversaw the implementation of this project. You can see that we have succeeded. In the near future, we plan to develop this area and expand our capabilities and potential."
