Opinion: Anglo-Saxons want to keep hegemon’s power in governing the whole world by any means
The reluctance to freeze the confrontation in Ukraine ‘on the terms dictated by Russia’ is explained by the intention of the United States and Great Britain to fight ‘to the last Ukrainian’ for the sake of a ‘just peace’. Belarusian military analyst Igor Chibisov told the sb.by portal what are the real goals of the Anglo-Saxons in maintaining the hot phase of the conflict around Ukraine.
“The Anglo-Saxons are increasing their global military activity only in order to keep the power of the hegemon in governing the whole world by any means. Now there is a restructuring from a unipolar to a multipolar world order. The main ally of the United States in Europe is Great Britain. It needs to maintain high military spending (up to 2 percent of GDP) not only to protect its own territory, but also to ensure political and economic interests where the UK needs it,” the expert explained.
“Moreover, the US has identified its strategic adversaries – Russia and China – preventing them from maintaining the role of the world’s gendarme. We shouldn’t forget that today there is a third world war: a hybrid one. Yes, hostilities in Europe are conducted only on the territory of Ukraine. However, the United States has and will continue to spend a lot on defence, because power can only be held by military force,” Igor Chibisov.
According to the military analyst, the main goal of the United States is to weaken and ruin the Russian Federation, to divide the country into ‘apanage principalities’, which will subsequently be controlled by puppets, following the example of today’s Ukraine.
