Oman likely to increase number of days off per week
The Omani authorities are considering increasing the number of days off per week to three instead of two, RIA Novosti reports
According to a source from the Omani government, this possibility is being studied because the relevant system is successfully functioning in other countries.
It is noted that the idea to introduce more days off mainly concerns the public sector. In the private sector, Oman and other countries of the Persian Gulf envisage usually only one day off a week: Friday.
