New regular Minsk-Urumqi-Minsk flight presented in Beijing
A new regular flight, Minsk-Urumqi-Minsk, which will connect Belarus and northwest China from December 16th, was presented in Beijing, sb.by reports with reference to the National Tourism Agency
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Aleksandr Chervyakov, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Foreign Economic Activity at Belavia Airlines Vladimir Barkun, and Director of the National Tourism Agency Dmitry Morozov.
The Chinese partners were presented with the tourism potential of Belarus. After the presentation, negotiations took place in the format of a workshop between Chinese travel companies and Belarusian tour operators authorised to receive groups of Chinese tourists by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China.
As noted by the National Tourism Agency, the Minsk-Urumqi-Minsk flight opens up new opportunities for the development of tourist exchanges between the countries. Urumqi is an important aviation hub providing convenient connections for flights to all regions of China.
Flights will be operated by Belavia Airlines weekly on Mondays. The travel time from Minsk to Urumqi will make 6 hours, from Urumqi to Minsk — 6 hours, 40 minutes.
"The new flight is a great opportunity for Belarusians to discover the beauty and culture of China, and for Chinese tourists to get acquainted with hospitable Belarus," the National Tourism Agency stressed.
