Allegedly, Mr. Phlippi planned to attack the Nashville power infrastructure with a drone carrying an explosive device.
Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) monitored Philippi for months, following him undercover when he went to purchase components for his home-made bomb. The FBI learned about his plans from informants. Philippi was arrested shortly before launching his drone to attack the power station.
