National Airport served 2.5m+ passengers in 2023

Minsk National Airport served more than 2.5 million passengers in 2023 – as stated by the Director General of the airport, Vyacheslav Khoroneko, BelTA reports

“Despite the unstable situation in the aviation industry and the difficult conditions in which the airport has been operating over the past few years, the results of work for 2023 show positive dynamics in the performance of production indicators,” Vyacheslav Khoroneko noted.

According to the Director General, 22.9 thousand flights were completed last year (the level increased by 15.5 per cent compared to 2022), 2.5 million air passengers were served (a 20.7 per cent increase) and 12.71 thousand tonnes of cargo were handled (a growth of 18 per cent).
