Musk said humanity needs to become multi-planetary civilisation

Entrepreneur Elon Musk said that humanity will have more chances to survive if it becomes a multi-planetary species, TASS reports

According to Elon Musk, there is always the possibility ‘that something could happen on Earth, either a man-made disaster or a natural disaster’. He noted that the history of Earth knows many mass extinction events, and ‘such events still lie ahead.’ Musk added that the probable lifespan of human civilisation would be much longer if it was a multi-planetary species.

The billionaire suggested that Mars is one of the planets to be the saving one for humanity.
