MTZ to implement three co-operation projects in Bashkortostan
The Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) will establish the production of wheeled, crawler and mini-tractors, as well as power tillers in Bashkortostan – as reported by MTZ’s corporate edition Traktor.bel
“Bashkortostan is one of MTZ’s key partners in Russia: on average, we deliver over 400 tractors to this region per year,” noted MTZ Deputy Marketing Director for Commercial Work in the CIS – Head of the Promotion and Sales Department in the CIS Mikhail Vardugin. “Alongside the supply of finished equipment, we are implementing three co-operation projects.”
According to the specialist, the establishment of the production of crawler tractors with a capacity of 199-212HP – together with the Matrix Universal company – is at a high degree of readiness. The Belarusian enterprise is ready to supply tractor kits, adjusted taking into account the testing of equipment in Bashkortostan fields.
The second project – whose implementation has been just launched – is the assembly of basic models of MTZ tractors with a capacity of 81HP on the premises of Agrosila Company.
“The region is ready to support the purchase of such equipment. We’ve concluded licensing agreements, and the design is currently being tested. This year we are starting to supply tractor kits and, accordingly, opening assembly production,” noted Mikhail Vardugin.
The third project is a joint assembly of mini-tractors and power tillers with the Zaman company in Dyurtyuli.
“We’ve already agreed on the first deliveries of finished products, and now we’re co-ordinating the terms for the export of sets of mini-equipment in order to launch production there this year,” commented a representative of the enterprise.
The Minsk Tractor Works is one of the leaders in the global agricultural machinery industry, founded on May 29th, 1946, and currently manufacturing tractors, municipal equipment, equipment for winter sports, universal chassis, forestry machines, etc. MTZ is the Management Company of the MTZ-Holding, registered on August 1st, 2014.
