Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige: Belarus, Uganda have a lot in common now and even more in future

Belarus and Uganda have even more prospects for mutual co-operation ahead – the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uganda to Russia and Belarus concurrently, Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige, told reporters after today’s ceremony of presenting credentials to the President of Belarus by foreign ambassadors

The diplomat recalled that on October 2nd, Belarus and Uganda will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, “We maintain excellent relations with Belarus, and I hope that the prospects for their development will be even greater. We have a lot in common; we have an interesting vision of interaction in the agricultural sector. We view Belarus as one of the leading countries in the field of agriculture. As Uganda’s Ambassador to Belarus, I certainly want to take advantage of our country’s prospects in this area.”

In turn, the Ambassador added that Uganda boasts an attractive investment climate, “I invite Belarusian businessmen to invest in my country. I’m convinced that we have a lot in common now and even more in future.”
