Medvedev commented on prospects of supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine
Deliveries of German Taurus missiles to Ukraine will not change the course of hostilities, but will multiply the risk of the conflict entering ‘the most dangerous stage’ – as stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, TASS reports
Commenting on the words of German Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz that if Russia does not complete its special military operation, Kiev will receive Taurus missiles from Berlin, Dmitry Medvedev said, “It is clear that such ultimatums are pre-election in nature. It is clear that these missiles cannot make a significant difference in the course of hostilities. Their delivery is just a way to prolong the agony.”
At the same time, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council added that possible cruise missile strikes multiply the risk of the conflict entering the most dangerous stage.
“In general, it is simply amazing to what extent the current generation of European politicians wants to drag the war onto their territory to the delight of Americans and against the will of their own peoples,” Dmitry Medvedev underlined, adding that in this regard, a bad scenario remains the most likely.
