Media: US, S. Korea to practice nuclear strike on DPRK at exercises in August
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that the armed forces of South Korea and the United States will work out a scenario for the use of nuclear weapons against the DPRK during the Ulchi Freedom Shield (UFS) military drills, TASS reports
It is noted that the upcoming large-scale Ulchi Freedom Shield exercises in August are already being called ‘nuclear strike training’ because of the current situation and their nature. KCNA reported that the manoeuvres involve ‘the deployment of advanced military equipment and are designed to implement the final stage of nuclear war plans’.
As stated in the DPRK, these drills prove that the words of the United States about the absence of hostile intentions are just a hypocritical deception. North Korea also noted that if the United States ‘together with its henchmen want to test the will and strength’ of the DPRK through provocations, then it should first think about the ‘catastrophic consequences’.
