Media: US demands intensified mobilisation from Ukraine
The West demands that Ukraine show the world community the impossibility of Russia's victory in the conflict, so the United States is urging Kiev to maximise mobilisation measures to compensate for the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the failed counteroffensive, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press bureau of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service
“The Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Sergei Naryshkin, said that the West demands from the regime of [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy, regardless of losses, to demonstrate to the world community the impossibility of Russia's victory in the Ukrainian conflict,” the press service said in a statement.
According to the source, Washington is directing the Ukrainian authorities to intensify mobilisation measures to make up for the colossal losses suffered by Ukrainian troops during the failed ‘counteroffensive’.
Along with this, the intelligence service noted that the United States and the United Kingdom advise Ukraine to reduce the age of conscription to 17 and raise it to 70, as well as to additionally draft women into the active army.
