Media: Biden approved strikes with US weapons into Russian territory

US President Joe Biden approved strikes with US-made long-range weapons into the Russian territory, TASS reports citing The New York Times

The American paper emphasised that the head of the White House made the decision just two months before the inauguration of the recent election winner, Donald Trump. It marks a sharp change in the US policy. Presidential advisors’ opinions on it were, reportedly, divided.

According to the The New York Times, the missiles will probably be used to defend the Ukrainian forces in Kursk Region.
