Lutsky: any sanctions will have consequences for those who impose them
Any sanctions will entail consequences for those who impose them – as stated by the Deputy Head of the President Administration, Igor Lutsky
“As the President has repeatedly stressed, the toughest measures will be taken against those countries that impose sanctions against Belarus,” Mr. Lutsky said. “This is brazen pressure on our country. The same will also be applied in relation to Lithuania which is trying to intimidate by imposing its own sanctions. They will not succeed. Such actions will have consequences for those who impose them.”
Earlier, at a meeting on countering sanctions measures taken against Belarus, President Lukashenko noted that the collective West keeps on trying to reduce the level of integration co-operation in Eurasia. The Head of State added then that – when it comes to pressure on the Belarusian economy – the attack is also aimed at citizens’ well-being.
