These fields at the junction of two regions are also called ‘presidential’ by Belarusians. Every year, local farmers conduct important experiments for the whole country here – sowing various crops, comparing domestic and imported varieties, strictly observing the technologies and principles of crop rotation. The best experience later spreads countrywide.

"This year, corn for grain (of different varieties) and herbs – clover, alfalfa, and a clover-timothy mixture – have been sown in these fields. After examining all the crops, the President assessed them as very good, or even close to ideal,” the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel reported.

The Head of State thanked the employees of the National Academy of Sciences and all those who participated in this work, including farmers who work on this land.

As it is known, the President pays great attention to agriculture, and the development of this sphere is under his constant control. The Head of State personally conducts experiments to keep abreast of the latest trends, try out technologies and new types of crops. The best and most successful results are further widely implemented in practice.
