Lukashenko to new Ambassador: Belarus has everything Turkmenistan needs
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed today Stanislav Chepurnoy, who previously headed the Main Directorate for International Co-operation and Trade of the Council of Ministers, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkmenistan
Addressing the new Ambassador, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, “We need to co-operate with Turkmenistan, no matter how difficult it is. There are problems today, they are of subjective and objective nature. Meanwhile, Turkmenistan and its leadership have always been very interested in Belarus since we have everything they need.”
According to the President, Belarus also has serious interests in Turkmenistan, as Turkmens are interested in Belarusian opportunities, especially in technology.
