Lukashenko to meet with National Assembly parliamentarians of outgoing convocation
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will meet with deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the seventh convocation, BelTA reports
The Head of State instructed to prepare a traditional meeting with outgoing MPs during a session on March 1st this year. “We must thank and reward those who deserve it,” the President said. “There should be no restrictions here, but it shouldn’t be in a crowd either. As is traditional: those who actively worked, and many deputies worked seriously on the Constitution.”
Characterising the composition of the Parliament that is completing its work, Aleksandr Lukashenko said, “The Parliament was as solid and decent as ever, and did not create problems for anyone. It worked as it should, so those deputies who deserve it should definitely be awarded.”
The President also paid attention to the employment of parliamentarians in new places. “These are experienced people, who have passed a very serious school,” the Head of State stressed.
