Lukashenko: Sultanate of Oman annually demonstrates socio-economic growth and significant achievements

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq al-Said and all the friendly Omani people on National Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Every year, the Sultanate of Oman demonstrates socio-economic growth and significant achievements in the industrial, technological, scientific, medical and cultural spheres. Your country is considered a model of stability and sustainable development, a guarantor of peace in the region," the congratulatory message reads.

Belarus and Oman are linked by long-term trusting, respectful and mutually beneficial relations, and the Head of State stated, "We highly appreciate Muscat's support of Minsk's position on international platforms.”

The President stressed readiness for the consistent development of political dialogue with the Sultanate of Oman and fruitful co-operation in such areas as trade, investment, tourism, humanitarian activities, and IT.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said good health and happiness, also wishing harmony, unity and prosperity to the people of Oman.
