"It would be nice if, as before – despite all the shortcomings and nuances – we had good relations with Armenia. Believe me, this is absolutely not our fault," the Head of State said. “We tried to help Armenians in every possible way, we co-operated with them as with the closest people, we helped them in every possible way. However, as you see, they wished to turn to the West, to the EU."

"What the West could be talked about? We are not against co-operation with the West and Americans, but you can see their policy... The new leadership – we can even say ‘the old new one’ (Kamala Harris, and others) – will come to power in the United States soon. You will see that the policy will be completely different,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said, giving then an example of the logic of communication of the American establishment. “They [Americans] have a habit of saying, "Who are you? We do not know you.” “How can this happen? We were friends with you, you supplied us with weapons,” [the US is told, but America replies], “No, it wasn't us.”

“That's their policy, and I have constantly told your leadership about this. I told them: you may probably not understand, but I am already an experienced man in politics. I have seen much. You should not trust them [Americans],” the Head of State added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko urged in any case not to lose the achievements reached in co-operation with traditional partners. "Everything happens, but do not lose what you have. You have this tit in your hands, so there is no need to chase the crane. Do not lose this friendship, this brotherhood. This is a single market in the economy, this is mutual assistance. Do not lose it, because if you lose it, you may not gain anything there,” he gave a piece of advice.

"Do you think that Armenia is waited for somewhere? No one is waiting for us, Armenia, or Ukraine (look, it will be before our eyes) anywhere. Everyone is busy with their own business. They want to solve their problems at the expense of others," the President noted.

"Armenians are very smart people, and they will figure out where their happiness is in the near future,” the Belarusian leader added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed Belarus’ exceptionally good attitude towards representatives of the Armenian diaspora. "You are no longer Armenians for me: you are Belarusians for me. You are our people, our citizens," he stressed.

The Head of State noted the special attitude towards people who came to Belarus not only from Armenia, but also from other places. "You had to leave your homes, this is your destiny. Many have actually been guided here not by happiness. We are to admit you into the family and warm you up, do everything so that you can work and earn money," the President noted.

Moreover, all those who have arrived are literate people, and they cherish their families. In turn, some make families in Belarus. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that beautiful and talented children are usually born in such mixed families, “Girls are beauties, and young men are truly smart. I sincerely say this, it is my firm belief. Just look at such mixed families."

"Come to us, and let large families come. There is enough work and land for everyone," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
