Lukashenko signed decree on support for consumer co-operation organisations
On August 5th, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 309 On Support for Consumer Co-operation Organisations – aiming to create conditions for improving the quality of services to the rural population, as well as financial rehabilitation of consumer co-operation organisations, sb.by reports with reference to the Head of State’s press service
The decree envisages the purchase of 240 special vehicles with commercial vans in 2024-2026, and the allocation of funds from local innovation funds for the automation of trade facilities of Belkoopsoyuz organisations in 2024-2025. Regional executive committees have been granted the right to direct funds from local budgets to finance work on current and major repairs of retail facilities, construction, reconstruction of commercial and industrial facilities of consumer co-operation organisations.
