Lukashenko sent Name Day greetings to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on his Name Day
“Your tireless long-term service for the benefit of Christians, activities to preserve traditional spiritual and moral values, and a high peacekeeping mission have earned the trust and respect of millions of people," the congratulatory message reads. “Your contribution to the development of interreligious and interfaith dialogue is very great. Today, in such a difficult time, your word is getting special power, providing invaluable help to people, strengthening their spirit and awakening love for their Fatherland. It is a moral guideline."
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the pastoral activity of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church will continue to be aimed at strengthening friendly ties between the two fraternal states.
The President wished the Patriarch good health, inexhaustible energy and success in his noble service to the Orthodox Church.
