Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro on his 60th birthday – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Under your confident leadership, Venezuela courageously confronts numerous challenges, gradually increasing its economic, industrial, scientific and cultural potential. Your efforts to defend national interests, strengthen state sovereignty, develop the social sphere, and improve the well-being of the Venezuelan people deserve the highest respect,” the congratulatory message reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko highlighted the intensification of the bilateral dialogue between Belarus and Venezuela.
“The implementation of a number of important agreements – reached last December at a meeting of the joint Belarusian-Venezuelan high-level commission – is under my close control,” the President stressed.
The Belarusian Head of State expressed confidence that, despite all the temporary difficulties, co-operation will continue to build up on a wide range of issues in the interests of the two states, which, no doubt, will be facilitated by the traditionally friendly and trusting relations between Minsk and Caracas.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Nicolas Maduro excellent health and prosperity, as well as further success in his responsible work.
