Lukashenko reported on situation in Belarus’ agro-industrial complex
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, was reported in detail by Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats who is overseeing the issues of the country’s agro-industrial complex, BelTA reports
As Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed, everything should be done this year, including fall ploughing. The problematic issues were also studied: this season, farmers have delayed harvesting flax and potatoes.
Other topics under discussion included exports of domestic food. Mr. Zayats oversees this issue personally being Deputy Prime Minister. He reported to the President about the prospects and plans. Specific instructions were also given.
Land reclamation was also in focus of attention. The land needs to be put in order, and this topic is given special importance at the Presidential level.
Another fundamental instruction of the Head of State dealt with the eradication of mediation in the field of agriculture. The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to take control of this issue as well.
